Ankle Arthrodesis Nailing System

Product Features

The Auxein Ankle Arthrodesis Nail incorporates anatomical and functional design features to support efficient implantation and stable fixation.

Available in different diameters and lengths to accommodate varied patient anatomy:

  • Nail diameter: 10 mm and 11.5 mm
  • Nail lengths: 160 mm, 200 mm, and 250 mm
  • Left and right configurations available for anatomical compatibility.
  • Straight Nail Design
Provides reliable intramedullary fixation for TTC fusion procedures.
  • Integrated Aiming Arm
Designed for accurate locking screw placement and improved surgical efficiency.
  • Dynamic Compression Slot
Enables controlled compression of up to 5 mm at the fusion site.
  • Multi-Planar Distal Locking Holes
Enhances angular stability and fixation strength.
  • Anatomical Compatibility
Available in left and right versions to match patient-specific requirements.
  • Optimized Dimensions
Designed with multiple nail lengths and diameters for different anatomical conditions.
  • 5.0 mm Locking Bolt (Hex Head): Available in 26 mm–110 mm lengths, designed for secure nail fixation with enhanced rotational and axial stability.
  • Compression Screw: Available in one size, designed to provide up to 5 mm controlled compression across the fusion site for improved stability.
  • End Cap: Available in 0 mm, 2.5 mm, 5 mm, 7.5 mm, and 10 mm lengths, designed to secure the nail construct and maintain implant integrity.

Designed to provide stable fixation for ankle and hindfoot fusion procedures with a complete range of nails, screws, and dedicated instrumentation.

  • Static and dynamic proximal locking options provide flexibility according to clinical requirements.
  • Distal multi-planar screw configuration enhances fixation strength and angular stability.

The distal sliding hole allows up to 5 mm controlled compression across the fusion site to support improved fusion stability.

The integrated aiming arm design helps improve screw placement accuracy and simplifies the surgical workflow.

The Ankle Arthrodesis Nailing System is designed to provide enhanced mechanical stability through optimized nail geometry and advanced locking options.

The multi-planar distal locking configuration provides improved resistance against rotational forces and supports stable fixation during the fusion process.

The compression slot allows controlled compression at the fusion site, promoting close bone contact and supporting arthrodesis stability.

The intramedullary nail design enables effective load transfer across the ankle and subtalar joints while maintaining proper alignment.

Designed to assist surgeons in achieving consistent hindfoot stabilization in complex deformity correction and revision procedures.

Intended Use

The Auxein Ankle Arthrodesis Nailing System is intended for ankle and hindfoot fusion procedures, including:

  • Tibiotalocalcaneal (TTC) arthrodesis
  • Severe ankle and hindfoot deformities
  • Degenerative ankle osteoarthritis
  • Inflammatory arthritis affecting the ankle or hindfoot
  • Avascular necrosis of the talus
  • Failed previous fusion procedures
  • Rheumatoid arthritis and pseudoarthrosis requiring fusion stabilization
