End caps: The system includes end caps with a self-retaining Stardrive recess, enabling effortless and secure end cap pick-up and insertion. The end cap prevents tissue ingrowth and aids in nail removal.
Angular stability: The end caps also allow for blocking the spiral blade or the most distal (retrograde) or most proximal (antegrade) locking screw, ensuring absolute angular stability.
Flexibility: The system incorporates a new design that offers great flexibility.
Titanium alloy: The nails are made of titanium alloy, providing improved mechanical and fatigue properties.
Cannulation: All nails are cannulated, allowing for guided insertion in both reamed and unreamed techniques.
Large portfolio: The system offers a wide range of nail diameters (from 9.5 mm to 12.0 mm) and lengths (from 180 mm to 400 mm).
Versatile locking configuration: The nails feature a versatile locking configuration, including options for static, dynamic, standard, and spiral blade locking.
Distal combination hole: The unique distal combination hole allows for optimal locking based on the anatomical situation and fracture type.
Locking choices: Surgeons can choose between spiral blade locking (with one spiral blade and one locking screw) or standard locking (with two locking screws) during the surgical procedure.
Angular stable locking: The end cap with self-retaining Stardrive recess ensures angular stable locking of the most distal locking implant in both configurations.
