Product Overview
AuxSuture Anchors are made from UHMWPE suture material providing the less bone removal and excellent fixation advantages. The anchors are available with or without needle options. The small footprint anchors are ideal for use in soft tissue repair or reconstructions of small joints.
The small diameter of the anchors provides small insertion footprint and strong subcortical fixation of anchor unlike other conventional anchors. It also minimizes bone loss due to small sized drill hole.
The anchor is available in diameter of 1.2mm with suture USP size One #0 BioBraid.
The anchor is available with and without needles options.The anchor with needles can be used in mini open or open surgeries. The anchor without needles are recommended to use in arthroscopic surgeries. The tapered cut needles are soft, curved and easily penetrated tissues.
IntendedUse
Ulnar or lateral collateral ligament repair.
Repair of collateral ligaments.
Flexor and extensor tendon at the PIP (proximal interphalangeal, DIP (distal interphalangeal), and MCP (metacarpal interphalangeal) joints for all digits.
